When you arrive at Hanoi International Airport, you will be taken to your hotel for check-in. After settling in, you will set off on a city tour. First, you will visit the Temple of Literature, which is the first university in Vietnam. Then, you will head to Ba Dinh Square, the largest square in Hanoi, where important cultural and political events take place. You can take photos of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside.
Later, you will get a great view of the capital by taking a "cyclo" ride around the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Your journey will include a stop at Ngoc Son Temple, situated on the Hoan Kiem Lake (also known as the "Sword" Lake). At night, you will stay at the hotel in Hanoi.
Start your day with breakfast. Today, you will head south of Hanoi to Ninh Binh, which used to be the capital of ancient Vietnam before Hanoi took over in the 11th century. This area is known for its beautiful landscapes, including Tam Coc Caves and the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, where there are old temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le who ruled in the 10th century.
Your visit to Ninh Binh begins with a boat trip in Tam Coc. Here, you will see impressive limestone karsts rising from the green paddy fields, similar to the landscapes in Guilin (China) and Halong Bay in Vietnam. That is why this place is often called "Halong-bay-on-land." Lunch is included in your day. Afterward, you will return to your hotel in Hanoi for the night.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast. Today, you will head to Halong Bay, a special place that has been considered a Natural World Heritage site by UNESCO since 1994. When you reach Halong, you will hop on a big boat to cruise through the bay and see its amazing beauty. The bay is famous for its unique limestone rocks and small island caves that look like a dragon coming down.
During the cruise, you will have lunch on the boat, visit caves, and even have the chance to swim or kayak. You will pass by floating villages and get up close to small islands to appreciate their beauty. After all the activities, you will head back to the boat for dinner. In the evening, there will be some boat activities, or you can just relax on your own. Dinner is included, and you will spend the night on the boat.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast. After that, you will head to Hanoi. On the way, you will pass by the Wharf of Halong, where you can see many interesting islands with names like Cock-Fighting Rock, Sail Island, Incense Burner Rock, and Sea Dog Rock. It's a scenic journey.
You will return to Hanoi in the evening and then catch a flight to Saigon. When you arrive at the airport in Saigon, we will be there to welcome you. From the airport, we'll take you to the hotel for check-in. You will spend the night at the hotel in Saigon.
After you have breakfast, you will be heading to the Mekong Delta today. When you get there, you will hop on a boat and cruise along the big Mekong River. Your first stop is one of the four islands in the area, where you will take in the sights. Then, you will get on small boats rowed by local folks through the little canals. Here, you can try some honey tea, watch how the locals make coconut candy milk, and even give it a taste. You can also take a stroll in the garden where locals take care of honeybees. After that, you will take a peaceful horse-cart ride through the village.
Lunch is included, and in the evening, you will head back to Saigon with a stop to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. This pagoda is famous for its unique architecture, blending Chinese, Cambodian, and French styles. You will stay overnight at a hotel in Saigon.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast. Today, you will explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, which are one of the few remaining reminders of the Vietnam War. You can even try crawling through the underground tunnels for an authentic experience. In the evening, return to Saigon and go shopping in the downtown area, where you will find many lovely items at reasonable prices. Some recommended places to visit for shopping include Ben Thanh Market (Saigon's main market), Saigon Square (a short walk from Ben Thanh Market), A Dong Plaza, and the nearby market, or Diamond Plaza if you are looking for high-quality and branded goods. Spend the night at the hotel in Saigon.
After another wonderful breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
