Itinerary

When you think of Switzerland, the mind immediately conjures images of snow-clad mountains, scrumptious chocolates, and breathtakingly beautiful landscapes. With our Switzerland tour package itinerary, we cover all of this and more.

Day 1: Arrive in Zurich – Zermatt

After you land in Zurich, you will take the Glacier Express from Zurich to Zermatt. This 4-hour journey is probably the best, thanks to its breathtaking mountains and gorges. Spend the night at a luxury hotel in Zermatt.

Day 2: Zermatt – Gornergrat – Matterhorn

On the second day, board the Gornergrat Railway to travel 3089m above sea level to Gornegrat. Enjoy the spectacular view of the Matterhorn, Switzerland’s most famous peak. After this adventure, get back to your hotel later in the day.

Day 3: Zermatt - St. Moritz

Get on board the popular Glacier Express for a seven-and-a-half journey from Zermatt to St. Moritz, a resort town in Switzerland’s Engadin Valley. St. Moritz is famous for its mineral springs and has attracted aristocrats and the ultra-rich for centuries. You will spend the night at one of the world's most luxurious and posh St. Moritz ski resorts.

Day 4: St. Moritz – Zurich - Rhine Falls

Travel from St. Moritz to Zurich. While you will be spending most of the day walking around the streets of Zurich, visiting museums, and shopping at flea markets, you absolutely must explore the Rhine Falls, the biggest waterfall in Europe. Spend the night at your hotel in Zurich.

Day 5: Bahnhofstrasse - Swiss National Museum

Getting a Swiss Pass is one of the easiest ways to explore Zurich. Go to the downtown street known as Bahnhofstrasse, among the world's most exclusive and expensive shopping avenues. It is a paradise for all the shopaholics. While this cosmopolitan city is famous for its shopping centres, it also retains its quiet city charm with its historical centres and views of the surrounding countryside. Don’t miss the Swiss National Museum later in the day, which portrays Switzerland’s cultural history.

Day 6: Depart from Zurich

Check out from your hotel and head to the airport to board your flight back home. You can also use the Swiss Pass to continue your journey.
