Explore Amazing China with Beijing, Xian and Shanghai

This morning, you will embark on an exciting journey to the awe-inspiring Great Wall of China at Juyong Pass. Here, you'll delve into the historical significance of this ancient structure, marvelling at its enduring presence as it meanders gracefully along the mountain ridges. Along the way, we will make a stop at the Jade Factory, return to the city to visit the Silk Factory, and have a photo opportunity at the Olympic Stadium. Your overnight stay will be at your Beijing hotel.

Begin the day with your breakfast and hop on to a visit to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, a remarkable collection of ancient structures, the largest and most comprehensive in all of China. This vast complex comprises an astounding 8,706 rooms, once home to an estimated 8,000 to 10,000 individuals, including 3,000 eunuchs, maids, and concubines, all situated within a sprawling 170-acre area. Later, explore the exquisite Summer Palace and enjoy some free time for shopping at Xiushui Market. Your overnight stay will be at a Beijing hotel.

Start the day with a hearty breakfast. In the morning, we will assist you with your transfer to the airport or train station for your journey to Xi'an. Upon arriving in Xi'an, you will be greeted and transported to your accommodation. Later in the day, embark on a city tour that includes a photo stop at the City Wall. You'll spend the night at Xi'an hotel.

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast. Embark on a full-day excursion, starting with a visit to the Terra Cotta Warriors, followed by a tour of a pottery factory. Upon returning to the city, explore the Bell Tower Square, and set aside some time for leisurely shopping. You'll also be treated to a complimentary lunch. Spend the night at your Xian hotel.

Indulge in a scrumptious breakfast to kickstart your day. Later in the morning, make your way to the railway station or airport for a high-speed bullet train or flight to Shanghai. Upon arriving in Shanghai, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a relaxing night at your Shanghai accommodation.

After breakfast, you’ll head out to explore the city today. The itinerary includes a tour of the Jade Buddha Temple and the Tian Hou Silk Factory to learn more about their traditional silk-making process. The tour also includes a visit to Bund, a protected historical district famous for its classic colonial buildings from the 1930s. These buildings have been restored to their past glory and are now symbolic of China’s past and glorious present. The waterfront is spectacularly lit at night, displaying the city’s futuristic skyline.

You’ll end the tour with a visit to the 88th floor of the Jinmao Tower and some bargain shopping at Nanjing Road.

Bid Zai Jian to Shanghai as you catch your train to the Pudong International Airport to catch your flight back home or continue with the next leg of your journey.
