Crossing the awe-inspiring Southern Alps, we continue our expedition, traversing the boundless Canterbury Plains. After breakfast travel to Greymouth on the world-famous TranzAlpine Train, enjoying the scenic view of the lush beech forests as they pass through alpine villages like Arthur’s Pass before reaching the Southern Alps. The trains journeys through the Canterbury Plains as it reaches Christchurch.
