Panoramic Switzerland

On your second day, you will be exploring the Lake Geneva Region. Lake Geneva separates France and Switzerland – Lausanne falls in the Swiss region and is famous for its breathtaking view of the French Alps. You will also explore the beautiful Swiss Riviera, i.e., the area from Lausanne to Montreux. The Swiss Riviera is famous for its old-world charm and natural beauty.

Don’t miss the Olympics Museum, dedicated to the spirit of the Olympics. It also displays the history of the sport, its origin, historical posters, equipment, Olympic torches, and the clothes the Olympians have worn to date.

You will also visit the Chateau d’Ouchy, 12th century a neo-Gothic style castle that was rebuilt in the 19th century and converted into a hotel.

Take a train from Lake Geneva Region to Zermatt. Once you’re done checking in to your hotel, you can spend the rest of the day at your own pace. You have the option of travelling to Gornergrat that day.

Day 4 involves visiting Switzerland’s most famous peak, the Matterhorn, also known as the Toblerone Chocolate Mountain. At 3883 above sea level, the Klein Matterhorn is Europe’s highest viewing platform. You can enjoy the panoramic view of the Swiss, French, and Italian Alps from the Matterhorn. Spend the night at your hotel in Zermatt.

Board the Glacier Express train that will take you from Zermatt to St. Moritz. The train passes through 291 bridges and 91 tunnels. You can have the rest of the evening to yourself and relax.

Check out from your hotel and head to the airport to board your flight back home.
