Welcome to Athens! Upon arrival at the Athens International Airport, our tour manager will greet you and help you transfer to the hotel. After you complete the check-in formalities, the manager will explain the tour details. Spend the rest of the day exploring the area around your hotel.

After a hearty breakfast buffet, head out for a half-day city tour. Athens is one of the oldest European cities famous for influencing modern Western Civilisation. It is also great for food lovers, with plenty of street food stalls selling modern and traditional Greek food.
You will cover Parliament Square, Maximos Mansion, the National Gallery, the Acropolis, the Temple of Poseidon, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the National Garden, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The tour also includes visiting the Panathenaic Stadium, the site of the first modern Olympics held in 1896.
You can relax on the coach as it travels to Panepistimiou Avenue, home to the National Library and the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens. The Temple of Zeus and the Acropolis Museum are other attractions covered in the tour.
After a busy day, retire to your hotel room and enjoy a scrumptious dinner.
After a breakfast buffet, head to discover the three beautiful Greek Islands in the Saronic Gulf: Paros, Hydra, and Aegina. Paros is comparatively less crowded than Mykonos and Santorini and is famous for its picturesque villages, like the Cyclades. Hydra is renowned for its rich luxury villas and historical monuments. When in Aegina, don’t miss a guided excursion to the Temple of Aphaia.
After a breakfast buffet at the hotel, head out for a full-day tour of Delphi. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its historical monuments, viz., the ancient stadium, the Temple of Apollo, the ancient Theatre of Delphi, and the Delphi Archaeological Museum.
As you drive to Delphi, stop at Livadia and Arachova, towns famous for their brightly coloured carpets, rugs, and other woven textiles.
Return to Athens to spend the night in your hotel room.
After a scrumptious breakfast, head to Athens railway station to catch your train to Kalabaka. This town is set on the foothills of Meteora and is famous for the Aspropotamos River, Koziaka Mountains, and the legendary monasteries built on the Meteora rocks.
The journey takes around 5 hours and is famous for its beautiful and scenic Greek countryside. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and complete the transfer formalities. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring places around the hotel.

After breakfast, head on a half-day tour of Meteora and the Theopetra Caves. Meteora is located only 5.5 km from central Kalabaka and is famous for its sandstone peaks, where monks established monasteries around the 11th century. You’ll explore and enjoy this beautiful place's natural beauty and cultural heritage while listening to the audio guide, who will share fascinating stories about how the early hermits and monks survived hundreds of years ago.
Later, you will proceed south of Meteora to the prehistoric Theopetra Cave, situated at the foot of the Chasia Mountains. This cave was inhabited during the Middle Palaeolithic period, around 130,000 years ago.
Return to the hotel in the afternoon to catch your train to Athens. Check into the Athens hotel and spend the night in Greece’s capital.
After breakfast, bid adieu to the country as you catch your flight to return to India or continue with your Greece vacation package.
