Colombo, on the other hand, helps you dig deeper into the culture of Sri Lanka through its temples, markets, and buildings of historical significance. Upon arrival at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, our tour representatives will greet you and help you get to your hotel in Bentota.
Bentota is a coastal town on Sri Lanka's southwestern coast. Once you complete the check-in formalities, you can head out to enjoy a variety of water-based activities, such as water skiing, snorkelling, sea diving, banana rides, and windsurfing. After breakfast, leave Bentota and head for Colombo. On the way, visit a fish market and the Bentota Turtle Hatchery, which was established to protect and conserve endangered turtle species. You will also stop by the New Paradise Spice & Herbal Garden.
Upon reaching your hotel in Colombo, you can finish the check-in process and then leave to visit the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall. This iconic convention centre hosts an eclectic array of important occasions and events.
On the third day of your trip, you will be taken on a city tour of Colombo. Visit the oldest Hindu temple in Colombo, Sri Kaileswaram Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Ganesha. The following stops will be the Old Parliament Building and the Gangaramaya Temple. The latter is a brilliant example of the perfect mix of cultural significance and modern architecture. You can shop for some gold jewellery at Sea Street in the evening before returning to your hotel.
Check out of your hotel in the morning and head to the airport to board your flight back home.
