Itinerary

When we think of the powerhouse that is China, our minds mostly go to the fact that it has been dominating the global market for ages. Apart from its status as ‘the world’s factory’, it also has a rich history and culture for visitors to uncover. If you hope to explore the landscape of this glorious country, check out our China educational tour package.

Day 1: Arrive in Beijing

Upon your arrival at the Beijing Capital International Airport, you will be greeted by our tour representative, who will help you reach your hotel. After completing the check-in formalities and enjoying a welcome drink, you will be stepping out for a day of sightseeing.

The first stop for the day is the Beijing National Stadium, which is also known as the Bird's Nest. The stadium was built to host the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics and was also used for the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics. This is where you will also get to witness the National Aquatics Center or Water Cube, which is a swimming center.
Spend the night at your hotel.

Day 2: Beijing City Tour

After having a delicious breakfast at your hotel, get dressed to experience some of the most popular attractions in Beijing.
The Tiananmen Square is a city square consisting of the Monument to the People's Heroes, the National Museum of China, the Great Hall of the People, and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong. From there, you will be heading to the Forbidden City, which is among the world’s biggest and most well-preserved wooden structures.

The next stop is the Summer Palace, which is a conglomeration of palaces, gardens, and lakes. It’s where you can see the Marble Boat and the Long Corridor, a corridor that’s 728 metres long. Stop at the Hongqiao Market for a bit to shop for pearls and end the evening by attending a Gongfu tea ceremony to learn about the traditional Chinese tea preparation method.

Day 3: Beijing – Shanghai

Start your morning with a filling breakfast, and then head out for an adventurous day. Get a glimpse of the art of jade carving at the Longdi Jade Factory. Next comes the Great Wall of China, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was built to protect the Eurasian Steppe from several nomadic groups. This is where you can also see the Juyong Pass, a mountain pass that is 18 km long.

Later in the evening, board a train to travel to Shanghai. Our tour representatives will meet you at the station and help you transfer to your hotel, where you can relax and spend the night.

Day 4: Shanghai City Tour

Consume your breakfast and then venture out to explore the city of Shanghai. Start off with the Shanghai Museum, which has some of the finest art collections in China. Appease your shopaholic heart at People's Square, and make sure to visit the Silk Market.

Take in the spectacular view of Yu Garden with its cloisters, ponds, rockeries, and pavilions. Shop for handicrafts, folk antiques, tea, and clothes at the Yuyuan Market. Explore the Bund, which is a protected historical district and waterfront area. Wrap up your evening by catching a cultural show on the Huangpu River Cruise.
