Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, our tour representatives will greet you and help you get to your hotel. Once the check-in formalities are done, you can rest and relax. Catch the sound and light show in the evening and spend the night at your hotel.
After having breakfast, you will be taken to witness the Pyramids of Giza, which are the only one of the seven wonders of the ancient world that have stood the test of time. Post having your lunch, experience Saqqara which is home to the oldest pyramid in the nation, the Step Pyramid of Djoser. You will also be taken to the ancient city of Memphis.
The rest of your day will be occupied with going to the Papyrus Institute, shopping at bazaars, and enjoying camel and horse rides. Get back to your hotel to spend the night.
Start the day by visiting the Egyptian Museum, which is reputed to be the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East. Home to more than 170,000 artefacts, it has the most extensive collection of Pharaonic antiquities. You will then be taken to the Citadel of Cairo, which served as the Egyptian government’s seat and the residence of the country’s rulers for almost 700 years.
Take a stroll around the iconic market known as Khan el-Khalili to shop for handicrafts, spices, and souvenirs. Enjoy the peaceful ambience at the St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church before heading back to your hotel for the night.
Once you’re done with breakfast, you will be leaving for the city of Alexandria, which is Egypt’s second-largest city. Witness Pompey's Pillar, which is a single column present on a rocky hilltop and was built to honour the Roman emperor, Diocletian. Go back in time at the catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, which are Egypt’s largest-known Roman burial site.
After going to the Citadel of Qaitbay, it will be time to witness one of the most vital libraries of the ancient world, the Great Library of Alexandria. Get back to Cairo and spend the night at your hotel.
Leave for the airport after eating your breakfast to board your flight back home.
